(Best out of the room during this vote) . <br /> AGENDA ITEM #5f: LAKE HOGAN LANE - PRELIMINARY <br /> Presentation by Atwater. <br /> The purpose of this agenda item is to consider the <br /> Lake Hogan Lane Subdivision, property of Lucy Carol <br /> Davis, for approval . <br /> The property in question is located on SR 1728 (Lake <br /> Hogan Farm Road) in Chapel Hill Township. The <br /> property is referenced as Lots 23 and 23A of Tax Map <br /> 109 . It is bordered by agricultural and residential <br /> development. The tract is designated as Twenty Year <br /> Transition on the Land Use Plan . This property is <br /> within the Joint Planning Area which requires <br /> courtesy review from the Carrboro Planning <br /> Department. <br /> There are seven (7) lots proposed out of 13.9 acres. <br /> The lot sites are 2.9 acres, 1 .6 acres and 1 .7 acres <br /> (5 lots) excluding the rights-of-way. The property <br /> is zoned R-1 (Rural -Residential ) . <br /> An Orange County Class "B" private road (Lake Hogan <br /> Lane) is proposed to provide access to the lots in <br /> the subdivision . <br /> Fire protection for the property is provided by the <br /> South Orange Fire District. Law enforcement is <br /> provided by the Orange County Sheriff 's Department. <br /> If will be patrolled on a 24-hour basis. <br /> Development of this subdivision would have minimal <br /> impact on the area. The protected traffic generation <br /> for this subdivision is approximately 66.57 (9.51 x 7 <br /> lots) trips per day. According to the Department of <br /> Transportation, the 1985 (most current) traffic count <br /> for SR 1777 (there was no traffic count conducted for <br /> SR 1728) , determined from the eastern intersection <br /> with SR 1834, is 2900 average daily trips. <br />
