• <br /> MEMORANDUM _ 211 <br /> -2-- <br /> We are enclosing a copy of the present Association Policy Statements <br /> which were re-adopted last year. The intent of the Policy Statements <br /> is to give some continuity and consistency in its policy positions. <br /> These statements will be examined and amended where appropriate at <br /> this year's Annual Conference. <br /> • <br /> The Association's Taxation and Finance Steering Committee has proposed. <br /> some amendments to that portion of the Policy Statements dealing with <br /> tax issues. These amendments were approved by the Board of Directors <br /> on May 22, 1986 and will be submitted for consideration by the <br /> delegates at the Annual Conference.
