The Board voted against the proposal indicating that the State should first demonstrate its willingness to fulfill its present responsibility for school current expense funding before adding other purposes for General Fund support. Another item was in support of a disclosure statement for elected officials. The Board approved the attached resolution which was recommended by the Orange County Democratic Party at its convention on April 5, 1986.
