} <br /> The Board of Commissioners for the County of Orange, North <br /> Carolina, met in regular session in the old Post Office in Chapel <br /> Hill, North Carolina, the regular place of meeting, at 7: 30 <br /> o'clock p.m. on June 17, 1986. <br /> Present: Don Willhoit, Chair; Commissioner Moses Carey; <br /> Commissioner Ben Lloyd; Commissioner Shirl Marshall; and Commissioner <br /> Norman Walker <br /> Absent: None <br /> ****************************************************************** <br /> The Chair announced that this was the hour and day fixed by <br /> the Board of Commissioners for the public hearing on the <br /> Preliminary Assessment Roll filed with the Clerk to the Board of <br /> Commissioners of Orange County pursuant to the direction of the <br /> Orange County Board of Commissioners and pursuant to the Board' s <br /> decision to finance the local share of the cost of paving North <br /> Carolina State Road (s) #1194 and #1198, also known as Rollingwood <br /> Road and Stallings Road, in Chapel Hill Township, Orange County, <br /> North Carolina. The Chair also announced that the Board of <br /> Commissioners would immediately hear anyone who might wish to be <br /> heard on the Preliminary Assessment Roll. Various persons <br /> appeared and were recognized and heard on the said Preliminary <br /> Assessment Roll. Those recognized and the essence of their <br /> comments were recorded by the Clerk to the Board of Commissioners <br /> in the minutes of the Board. <br /> 1 <br />
