NORTH CAROLINA 1.41. <br /> LEASE <br /> ORANGE COUNTY <br /> This lease contract, made this the S ✓'day of July, 1985, <br /> by and between EFLAND RESCUE UNIT and EFLAND VOLUNTEER FIRE COMPANY, <br /> INC. a North Carolina Corporation, Lessor, Party of the First Part, and <br /> ORANGE COUNTY, Lessee, Party of the Second Part; <br /> W I T N E S S E T H: <br /> ! That the Lessor hereby demises unto the Lessee the premises <br /> i <br /> S known as the EFLAND RESCUE UNIT BUILDING in Efland, North Carolina and <br /> more particularly described as follows: <br /> ✓BEGINNING at Curtis W. Brown's Southeast corner in <br /> the public road on South side of Southern Railway <br /> in Efland, N.C.; thence along said public road 106 <br /> x feet to a corner in the public road, this being <br /> a John Efland, Jr. Northeast corner; thence West <br /> = along John Efland, Jr. line 200 feet to a stake; <br /> E thence North 106 feet to a stake Efland and Brown's <br /> _ 6 corner; thence East along Brown's line 200 feet to <br /> S the BEGINNING CORNER, containing one-half acre more <br /> or less. The corner stakes for the corners in the <br /> x road are set back 10 feet in the line from the <br /> ' W corner in the public road. <br /> Y <br /> This lease is executed upon the following terms and <br /> conditions: <br /> 1. The Lessee agrees to pay rent of $1.00 for the term. <br /> 8 <br /> The term shall be for one year with an option to renew for an <br /> additional one year term. <br /> 2. This lease shall not be assigned, nor the leased <br /> premises sublet, without the written consent of the Lessors. <br /> 3.
