BOCC <br /> PUBLIC OTHER <br /> STAFF PRIORITY RECOMMENDATION: X HIGH MIDDLE LOW <br /> COMMENT: TO PROVIDE FOR ADDITIONAL REVIEW TIME FOR <br /> SPECIAL USE PERMIT APPLICATIONS <br /> EXPECTED PUBLIC HEARING DATE: MAY 27, 1986 <br /> ********************** <br /> PURPOSE OF AMENDMENT: To provide for additional time for <br /> the Planning Staff and Planning Board <br /> to review special use permit <br /> applications. <br /> ISSUES/ IMPACTS: Additional time for review of special use <br /> permit applications by the Planning Staff <br /> and Planning Board would provide for more <br /> comprehensive and unhurried review of a <br /> development application. It would increase <br /> the maximum length of time for review of <br /> applications by advisory agencies before <br /> decision by the Board of Commissioners. <br /> EXISTING ORDINANCE PROVISiON(S) : <br /> Section 8.4.2 Zoning Officer Prepares <br /> AAlys mme <br /> i s and Rec.ondat i ons <br /> The Zoning Officer shall within thirty days <br /> of the receipt of the application by the <br /> Zoning Officer, cause an analysis to be <br /> made of the application and, based upon <br /> that analysis, prepare a recommendation for <br /> consideration by, in the case of a Class A <br /> Special Uses, the Planning Board and the <br /> Board of County Commissioners and, in the <br /> case of Class B Special Uses, the Board of <br /> Adjustment. <br /> The thirty day period may be extended with <br /> the written consent of the applicant up to <br /> a maximum of sixty days. <br /> Section 8.4.5 Planning Board Action ort <br /> Cass A Special Uses <br />
