PROPOSED ORDINANCE AMENDMENT <br /> ORDINANCE: Subdivision Regulations 123 <br /> REFERENCE: Article IV-B-8 - Landscaping and Buffer Requirements <br /> ORIGIN OF AMENDMENT:_X_Staff Planning Board BOCC Public <br /> Other: Planning Board Chair/Planning <br /> Director <br /> STAFF PRIORITY RECOMMENDATION:_x_High Middle Low <br /> COMMENT: <br /> EXPECTED PUBLIC HEARING DATE: May 27, 1986 <br /> ******************************** <br /> PURPOSE OF AMENDMENT: To provide more definitive standards for <br /> the provision of buffers between incompatible land uses and to <br /> set standards for the preservation of existing tree cover and <br /> installation of new vegetation where nonexistent. <br /> ISSUES/ IMPACTS: Existing ordinance provisions provide an <br /> open-ended standard regarding buffer strips and no provision for <br /> preservation of existing tree cover.
