The Clerk to the Board of Commissioners is hereby 041 <br /> authorized and directed to cause a notice of the public hearing to <br /> be given by publication one time, not less than ten (10) days <br /> prior to <br /> 1956, the date set for the hearing, in a <br /> newspaper having a general circulation in Orange County. Such <br /> notice shall be in substantially the following form: <br /> NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON <br /> PRELIMINARY ASSESSMENT ROLL FILED WITH <br /> THE CLERK TO THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF <br /> ORANGE COUNTY PURSUANT TO THE DIRECTION OF THE <br /> ORANGE COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br /> AND PURSUANT TO THE BOARD'S DECISION TO <br /> FINANCE THE LOCAL SHARE OF THE COST OF <br /> PAVING NORTH CAROLINA STATE ROAD #1195, <br /> ALSO KNOWN AS MEADOW LANE, <br /> IN CHAPEL HILL TOWNSHIP, <br /> ORANGE COUNTY, NORTH CAROLINA <br /> Notice is hereby given that, pursuant to Article 9 of <br /> Chapter 153A of the General Statutes of North Carolina, the Board <br /> of Commissioners of Orange County has completed and filed a <br /> Preliminary Assessment Roll. Pursuant thereto: <br /> 1. Orange County shall undertake the financing of the <br /> local share of paving North Carolina State Road #1195, also known <br /> as Meadow Lane, in Chapel Hill Township, Orange County, North <br /> Carolina. The amount to be financed by Orange County is estimated <br /> to be Ten Thousand Five Hundred Fourteen and 1/100 Dollars <br /> ($10,514.01) , including costs and attorney's fees. A portion of <br /> the costs of paving the above roads will be borne by the <br /> Department of Transportation or the State of North Carolina. <br /> 4 <br />
