-lZ- <br /> IV. Unit Management - <br /> The unit meets twice monthly for unit. meetings. This time <br /> is used to discuss difficult cases, to communicate policies and <br /> procedures, and to plan for the unit's work. From time to time, <br /> guests are invited to attend to provide the workers with <br /> information on special areas of interest.. Individual conferences <br /> are not scheduled for each worker. The supervisor maintains an <br /> "open door" policy. However, time is set aside yearly for each <br /> worker by the supervisor to complete annual job performance <br /> appraisals. This is completed before each person's anniversary <br /> date with the agency. <br /> Although the agency does not have an agency policy manual, <br /> the unit has developed written policies and procedures for day <br /> care and chore services.
