C. 27278 <br /> Dear Mr. Collins: <br /> Mayor Sheffield asked that I relay to you the following recom- <br /> mendations relative to improvements to State roads and streets within <br /> the Town of Hillsborough and its environs: <br /> Top Priority <br /> Widening of South Churton Street from the river bridge to 1--85. <br /> Immediate Needs <br /> Resurfacing of Nash Street from Highway 70 Bypass to Calvin Street. <br /> Signal light at intersection of Faucette Mill Road and Highway 70 <br /> Bypass. <br /> Curb and guttering of W. King Street to Nash Street. <br /> Upcoming Needs <br /> Widening of new Highway 86 from Highway 70A to southern area of <br /> Wildwood Subdivision. <br /> Widening of Highway 70 Business from S. Churton Street pass Meadowlands, <br /> Widening of old Highway 86 from 1-85 to the 1-40 Interchange. <br /> The Town Board would appreciate the incorporation of these needs into <br /> the transportation needs submitted by Orange County. <br /> If you have questions, regarding this request, please advise. <br /> Sincerely, jha J ohns own Clerk <br />
