• <br /> Housing-Residentis1-1 (.PD-H-R1 ). and the issuance of <br /> a Class A Special Use Permit to allow the <br /> development of the site for attached and detached <br /> single-family homes at an overall density of one <br /> unit to the acre. <br /> ORANGE COUNTY ZONING ORDINANCE <br /> Proposed amendments to the text of the Zoning Ordinance <br /> under consideration are as follows: <br /> 1 . Amend Article 5 ESTABLISHMENT OF DIMENSIONAL <br /> REQUIREMENTS, Section 5. 1 .2 Schedule for Non- <br /> residential Development Lot by Lot (and) Planned <br /> Development, to modify the Pedestrian/Landscape <br /> Area Ratios (LSR) requirements specified in the <br /> Land Use Intensity (LUi ) System. <br /> This amendment would establish landscaping <br /> requirements for non--residential uses for all <br /> zoning districts based on 25% of the open space <br /> required. <br /> 2. Amend Article 7 PLANNED DEVELOPMENTS and Article 8 <br /> SPECIAL USE PERMITS to consolidate provisions of <br /> both articles. <br /> These amendments would consolidate the provisions <br /> of the two articles and would relocate the specific <br /> standards for planned developments within the <br /> Special Use Permit article. <br /> 3. Amend Article 7 PLANNED DEVELOPMENTS, Section 7.2.8 <br /> Time Limit on Start of Construct-ion for Planned Use <br /> Developments, to modify the provision specifying <br /> the initiation period for construction activity for <br /> planned development rezonings. <br /> This amendment would extend the time period for the <br /> initiation of construction activity for planned <br /> development rezonings from six (6) months to twelve <br /> ( 12) months . <br /> 4. Amend Article 8 SPECIAL USE PERMITS, Section 8.4.2 <br /> Zoning Officer Prepares Analysis and <br /> Recommendations and Section 8.4.6 Action on the <br /> Application, to modify the provisions specifying <br /> the application review period for the Planning <br /> Staff and Planning Board. <br /> These amendments would extend the review period by <br /> the Planning Board and Planning Staff on special <br /> use permit applications. <br /> 5 . Amend Article 8 SPECIAL USE PERMITS, Section 8.4 <br /> Procedure for Submission and Consideration of <br /> Application for Approval of Special Uses, to <br /> establish a pre-application meeting requirement. <br />
