BAKER <br /> DIRECTOR <br /> MEMORANDUM <br /> To: County Commissioners <br /> From: Finance Director <br /> Subject: Funding for Orange High School Renovation/ <br /> Expansion Project and Glenwood/Estes Hills <br /> Multipurpose Space Project <br /> Date: May 1, 1986 <br /> Accompanying this memorandum are two alternatives for funding the increase in <br /> cost of the Orange High School Renovation/Expansion Project and the Glenwood/ <br /> Estes Hills Multipurpose Space Project. The School Capital Reserve Fund Long <br /> Range Plan and Budget has been revised in both instances to show an additional <br /> cost of $451,000 for the High School project and $1 million for the Multipurpose <br /> Space Project. Both projects have a final payment in the 87-88 fiscal year. <br /> The cost shown=for-the High School will provide for the base project plus the <br /> surfacing of the parking lot and driveway. <br /> An explanation of the two alternatives follows. <br /> Alternative No. 1 <br /> This plan will allow both projects to be completed within the <br /> existing revenue structure called for in the Long Range-Plan. <br /> However, the planned projects (other than the multipurpose- space) <br /> for the Chapel Hill-Carrboro system would be rescheduled as follows: <br /> FY of Funding FY of Funding <br /> Project In Present Plan <br /> In Revised Plan <br /> 1.
