Town limits, and, <br /> d) Main Street from Hillsborough Road to 54 Bypass. <br /> 3) Widen the bridge on Smith Level Road over Morgan Creek to four lanes. <br /> 4) Implement the recommendations of the Chapel Hill/Carrboro Signalization <br /> Study to purchase and install improved signal equipment in the Town. <br /> Second Year Priorities . - . <br /> 1) Widen Smith Level Road to five lanes from Merritt Mill. Road to Cuibreth <br /> Road. <br /> 2) Widen 54 Bypass to a duel-lane facility from 15-501 to the intersection <br /> of 54 West and Old Fayetteville Road (SR 1107 & SR 1937). <br /> 3) Widen Estes Drive to four lanes from Airport Road to North Greensboro <br /> Street, and include bike lanes. <br /> Third Year Priorities <br /> 1) Widen Smith Level Road to four lanes from Cuibreth to U.S. 15-501. <br /> 2) Widen 54 West between the Bypass intersection and the Old Fayetteville <br /> Road intersection. <br /> 3) Widen Jones Ferry Road to four lanes from Old Fayetteville Road to the <br /> Bypass. <br /> Long Range Priorities <br /> 1) The extension of Carr Street from the Chapel Hill/ <br /> Carrboro municipal limits to intersect with Main Street and Jones Ferry <br /> Road. The Carr Street extension will be built to a 48' roadway cross- <br /> section. <br /> 2) Improve Main Street to three lanes from Roberson Street to Jones Ferry Road. <br /> 3) Widen Main Street to 36' with curb and gutter from Jones Ferry Road to <br /> Weaver Street. <br /> 4) Widen Greensboro Street to four lanes from Estes Drive to Merritt Mill Road. <br />
