He said the goal is make this a cooperative and painless process. <br /> Commissioner Rich said she would still like to find other ways to get this information out <br /> to the public by using social media. She also suggested putting the revaluation as the top <br /> topic on the tax web page <br /> Chair McKee asked Dwane Brinson if he would place the Schedules of Values in the <br /> libraries. <br /> Dwane Brinson said yes. <br /> A motion was made by Commissioner Burroughs, seconded by Commissioner Rich for <br /> the Board to receive the proposed schedules, standards, and rules from the Tax Administrator; <br /> schedule the public hearing at the Board's September 20, 2016 regular meeting concerning <br /> their adoption; and direct staff to publish the proper advertisements concerning the public <br /> inspection and public hearing times in the Durham Herald Sun, News of Orange and Chapel <br /> Hill News and to explore other types of media to get this information out to the public and to <br /> place copies in the libraries. <br /> VOTE: UNANIMOUS <br /> c.
