PROPOSED SUBDIVISION REGULATIONS TEXT AMENDMENTS - RECREATION <br /> STANDARDS (PUBLIC HEARING CONTINUATION) <br /> Motion was made by Commissioner Marshall, seconded by Chair <br /> Willhoit to continue the public hearing until May 27, 1986 to <br /> permit staff to readvertise the proposed amendments to the <br /> Subdivision Regulations. <br /> VOTE: UNANIMOUS. <br /> 10. CLEAN WATER BOND FUNDS RESOLUTION <br /> Motion was made by Commissioner Carey, seconded by <br /> Commissioner Marshall to adopt the following resolution which <br /> will provide the State with assurances as to the County's <br /> intent to utilize the awarded grants per deadlines specified <br /> by the State: <br /> RESOLUTION <br /> WHEREAS, the NRCD Environmental Management Commission has awarded <br /> two clean water bond grants (WC 498, accepted July 7, <br /> 1982 in the amount of $42,712 for the construction of 8 <br /> inch collection sewer and one pump station, and WT388-R, <br /> accepted February 6, 1984 in the amount of $122,375 for <br /> the construction of a pump station and force main <br /> interceptor system; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Orange County Board of Commissioners has filed a <br /> revised preliminary report with the EMC for the grants to <br /> be used to install a community wide sewer system to solve <br /> the problems of a failing package plant at the Efland <br /> Cheeks Elementary School and the failing septic systems <br /> within the Efland area; and <br /> WHEREAS, the proposed Efland Sewer Project is in the easement <br /> dedication phase and will be constructed according to the <br /> revised attached schedule and project budget; and <br /> WHEREAS, project financing is dependent upon the Clean Water Bond <br /> Grants remaining in effect, <br /> NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Orange County <br /> .Commissioners: <br /> 1. Assures the EMC of its intent to complete the project <br /> prior to the June 30, 1987 deadline established by the <br /> State, and <br /> 2. Submits the attached budget and schedule as indication of <br /> the remaining checklist steps remaining. <br /> VOTE: UNANIMOUS. <br /> 11.
