"The Promise of World Peace" has recently been presented <br /> to President Reagan, as well as to over seventy other heads-of- <br /> state, United Nations secretary-general Perez de Cuellar, and <br /> numerous congressmen, mayors and leaders of thought in the <br /> United States and abroad. The letter goes well beyond the <br /> immediate military issues, such as nuclear disarmament, <br /> addresses a wide range of related questions and provides pro- <br /> found suggestions which are of great potential interest and <br /> benefit to the people of Orange County. "The Promise of World <br /> Peace" is a tremendous inspiration to those many people seeking <br /> to further the cause of global peace, beginning at the level of <br /> the individual in our community. <br /> NEED: <br /> IMPACT: <br /> RECOMMENDATION(S) : <br />
