DURHAM — 688--7331 <br /> PURPOSE: To consider adopting the.attached Resolution assuring, the school system <br /> that funds in an amount at least..sufficient to purchase two mobile <br /> classroom units will -be appropriated in the 1986-87 County budget for <br /> school current capital. <br /> • <br /> NEED: The Chapel Hill-Carrboro City. Schools have expressed a need for three mobile <br /> classroom units for the beginning of school next fall. <br /> IMPACT: The cost of the units is estimated by the school system to be $33,000 each. <br /> The Board of Education has approved a budget amendment to purchase one unit <br /> from the contingency account in the 1985-86 Capital Outlay Fund. Therefore, <br /> the County will need to appropriate at least _$66,000 in the 1986-87 County <br /> budget for the remaining two units. <br /> RE CW-;,!EN DA IION(S) : Approve. <br />
