It also was extremely difficult for <br /> contractors to bid, so many of them have told me. Three <br /> general contractors obviously wanted the project since <br /> their bids are so close. <br /> In view of the long, hard task of your staff and our firm, <br /> hard work and patient cooperation have now paid off. <br /> It is our recommendation that you take advantage of this <br /> ( ' hard work and resulting good prices and award the entire <br /> project, including all alternates. <br /> If alternates are dropped they will be much more expensive <br /> when new bids are received.
