r <br /> RESOLUTION <br /> WHEREAS, the Chapel Hill-Carrboro City Schools are in need of three mobile <br /> classroom units, and <br /> WHEREAS, the purchase order for the mobile classroom units needs to be issued <br /> this spring to allow the necessary lead time for delivery of the units <br /> for the beginning of school next fall, and <br /> WHEREAS, the Board of Education approved a budget amendment to purchase one <br /> mobile classroom unit from the contingency account in the 1985-86 <br /> Capital Outlay Fund, and <br /> WHEREAS, the Chapel Hill-Carrboro City Schools have requested that the Orange <br /> County Board of Commissioners appropriate at -least $66,000 for the <br /> purchase of the two remaining units in the 1986-87 County budget, and <br /> WHEREAS, The Chapel Hill-Carrboro City Schools need the assurance from the <br /> Orange County Board of Commissioners that the funds will be appropriated <br /> before issuing the purchase order for three mobile classroom units. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Commissioners assures the <br /> Chapel Hill-Carrboro City Schools that at least $66,000 will be <br /> appropriated for the purchase of two mobile classroom units in the <br /> 1986-87 County budget. <br /> Adopted this 22nd day of April, 1986. <br /> 0: //A . <br /> Don Willhoit, Chair <br /> Orange County Board of Commissioners <br /> ATTEST: <br /> /74-L,‘" <br /> Beverly Blyt-.- <br /> Clerk to the Orange County <br /> Board of Commissioners <br />
