r 101 <br /> Criteria for evaluating suitability of. proposed <br /> recreation areas shall include but not be limited to <br /> the following: <br /> (a) La atiOl.. , Land provided or dedicated for <br /> recreation purposes shall be located so as to <br /> serve the needs of the immediate residents of the <br /> subdivision. Recreation areas shall be centrally. <br /> located so as to provide, insofar as possible, <br /> equal accessibility to all residents of the <br /> subdivision; provided, however, recreation areas <br /> may be approved in other locations where land <br /> more suited for recreational purposes due to <br /> shape, level slopes and/or dry soil conditions is <br /> present. <br /> (b) thily,, Land provided or dedicated for recreation <br /> purposes shall be a single parcel except where it <br /> is determined that two (2) or more parcels are <br /> suited to the needs of a particular subdivision. <br /> The Planning Board may recommend, and the Board <br /> of Commissioners may require, the provision or <br /> dedication of a connecting path in addition to <br /> the land required in Section IV-B-7-b-2 of this <br /> Ordinance. Where a connecting path is necessary, <br /> a path of up to fifty (50) feet in width may be <br /> required, but in no case shall the path be less <br /> than thirty (30) feet in width. <br /> (c) Acoasaibilii Land provided or dedicated for <br /> recreational purposes shall have at least fifty <br /> (50) feet of frontage on at least one (1) street <br /> within the subdivision. <br /> Where a recreation area is centrally located with <br /> respect to the residents of the subdivision but <br /> is not accessible due to lot arrangement , the <br /> Planning Board may recommend, and the Board of <br /> Commissioners may require, the provision or <br /> dedication of connecting paths which link the <br /> recreation area with other streets within the <br /> subdivision. (see figure below) Connecting <br /> paths so required shall be in addition to the <br /> land required in Section IV-B-7--b-2 of this <br /> Ordinance. Connecting paths of up to fifty (50) <br /> feet in width may be required but in no case <br /> shall the paths be less than thirty (30) feet in <br /> width. <br />
