Total Cost: $3,505.99 121 <br /> Transportation Cost: $4,126.89 <br /> CURRICULUM PROGRAM <br /> The Individual Referral Program allows participants who need specific <br /> occupational training to be referred to training on an individual basis <br /> in the community college system. Training is allowed where openings in <br /> unsubsidized employment will exist when training is completed. This <br /> approach allows for training in more occupations by utilizing the entire <br /> range of training services available in the community college system. <br /> Participants may be individually referred for a single course, several <br /> courses, or an entire curriculum. <br /> Individual Referral Applicants are: <br /> 1. determined eligible by in-house specialists <br /> 2. assesSed for previous employment skills educational <br /> level, goals/interests and barriers to employment <br /> 3. interviewed and selected by a committee. This committee <br /> consists of the DTI Coordinator, JTPA Coordinator and <br /> assigned counselors. <br /> This program is conducted by DTI (Durham Technical Institute) and TCA <br /> (Technical College of Alamance) . <br /> The hours of operation vary according to participant's schedule. <br /> Counselor visitation is scheduled at DTI on Monday and Wednesday from <br /> 2:00 p.m.. to 5:00 p.m. Counselor visitation at TCA is scheduled every <br /> other Monday and Friday from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00, p.m. <br /> A total of nine (9) Orange County participants (DTI=4 TCA=5) have <br /> been enrolled in the Curriculum program between 07-01-85 and 12-31-85. <br /> PARTICIPANTS ENROLLED <br /> (T) Chegash, Peggy Rt. 2, Box 17 Chapel Hill <br /> Hodgson, James Rt. 5, Box 449 Mebane <br /> (T) Lecates, Michael Rt. 4, Box 765 Hillsborough <br /> (T) Young, Christina 100 Gateway Village Hillsborough <br /> (T) Capparella, Ellen 1607 E.
