Another reason for <br /> denial was the flooding that occurred in mid-August <br /> of 1985 which suggested discrepancies in the <br /> federal flood maps . <br /> MOTION: Pilkey moved denial in accordance with the Town of <br /> Hillsborough recommendation. Seconded by Gordon . <br /> VOTE: 7 in favor . <br /> 4 opposed (Kizer , Pearson , Shanklin , Yuhasz) <br /> Kizer noted that he felt there were no grounds for <br /> denial . Land can be subdivided ; whether or not it <br /> is developed is another matter ,. REZONING <br /> Presentation by Smith . <br /> The purpose of this agena item is to consider the <br /> rezoning request submitted by Orange Investors for <br /> recommendation to the Board of Commissioners . <br /> This item was submitted to public hearing on <br /> February 24, 1986 . <br /> Orange Investors is requesting a general rezoning <br /> of property located at the southeast corner of the <br /> intersection of Buckhorn Road ( SR 1114) and <br /> Interstate-85 in Cheeks Township . The property is <br /> known as Lot 20C and P/0 Lot 20 of Tax Map 28 for <br /> Cheeks Township . The parcel contains 19 .5 acres or <br /> 849 ,420 square feet . <br /> The property is located within an area designated <br /> Twenty Year Transition and Commercial-Industrial <br /> Transition Activity Node in the West Orange Area <br /> Plan amendment to the Orange County Land Use Plan <br /> adopted in 1984 . <br />
