That designation <br /> permits the development of single-family <br /> residential housing on minimum lot sizes of 140 ,000 <br /> square feet . • <br /> Approval of the request would allow development of <br /> a 214 lot subdivision served by Town of Hillsborough <br /> water services (see attached letter of commitment <br /> to provide services) and individual septic tanks . <br /> A 1984 traffic count indicated 200 vehicles per day <br /> per residence . The development would generate an <br /> additional 228 trips per day on Miller Road . Miller <br /> Road is an unpaved road listed a priority #27 on <br /> the unpaved state-maintained road Point System for <br /> Orange County . <br /> The Planning Staff recommends approval subject to <br /> the following condition: <br /> An eight inch water line shall be installed to <br /> serve the site as recommended by the Town of <br /> Hillsborough . <br /> Jacobs inquired about annexation of the site by the <br /> Town of Hillsborough . Smith responded that this <br /> property is not within the annexation study area . <br /> Jacobs asked if it was within the Transition Area . <br /> Smith responded it was not . <br /> Kramer inquired about the Recreation Department <br /> comments . Kirk responded that the memorandum dated <br /> March 7 , 1986 and included in the packet contained <br /> the most recent comments .
