Seconded by Shanklin .
Kramer expressed concern with the availability of
water supply . He felt the decision should be
delayed until information is received at the March
25 public hearing .
Margison also expressed concern with water and
favored a delay.
Shanklin noted he felt no conditional subdivisions
should be approved until it was known where the
water was coming from.
Kizer stated a moratorium was at issue here .
Turrning down one subdivision due to water. affects
all subdividers throughout the County . Jacobs
indicated the Board was backing into a phasing
requirement .
Pilkey inquired about a water pressure south of
this project that was mentioned by the County
Manager at an earlier public hearing . Smith
responded that the Manager based his statement on a
comment received from one individual in Wildwood
who consistently complains about her water
pressure . Smith noted it was unfortunate that the
comment was construed in his presentation as being
a problem in that area; there is no water pressure
problem identified by the Town in that area .
Pearson noted he felt if this project was turned
down , all projects in the County on public water
must be turned down . He felt it was unfair to make
such a policy decision .
