Phases IV & V are indicated on the preliminary <br /> plan for information only . <br /> To receive the Planning Board recommendation on the <br /> Preliminary Plan . <br /> NEED: George Horton has requested approval of a subdivision for <br /> 40 .7 acres of land located off Miller Road ( SR 1555) in <br /> Hillsborough Township . The property in question is known as <br /> Lot 20 of Tax Map 4 and part of Lot 1 , Block B of.Tax Map 6 . <br /> The purpose of the request is to permit construction of a <br /> twenty-four ( 24) lot subdivision . <br /> There are two roads proposed to serve the subdivision . Each <br /> road is to be constructed to NCDOT standards and dedicated <br /> public . The property is designated Agricultural Residential <br /> in the Orange County Land Use Plan . That designation permits <br /> the development of single-family residential housing on <br /> minimum lot sizes of 40 ,000 square feet . <br /> IMPACT: Approval of the request would allow development of a 24 lot <br /> subdivision served by individual wells and septic tanks . The <br /> developer has indicated his preference that the subdivision <br /> served by the Town of Hillsborough water services when <br />
