e <br /> 013 <br /> BY-LAWS • <br /> OF <br /> LOCKRIDGE COMMUNITY ASSOCIATION <br /> Article I. <br /> Purposes <br /> • <br /> The purposes for which the corporation is organized are: <br /> A. To provide the members with individual homesites or units <br /> of multifamily housing; to establish individual; family, and community <br /> dwelling places; all in a manner consistent with ecological harmony. <br /> . B. To establish a community resource center, including <br /> facilities for library, audio-visual materials, agricultural and <br /> building tools, kitchen and canning facilities, meeting area, play- <br /> ground and other recreational facilities. <br /> C. To hold, administer, care for, and control the use and <br /> • enjoyment of common areas, including but not being limited to, <br /> community water supply, community road system, woodlands, meadows, <br /> lakes, and cultivated lands, and to assess the members of the <br /> corporation for expenses incurred for common purposes. <br /> D. To administer, enforce, and lgrant exceptions) from the deed <br /> restrictions imposed on lands of the corporation and its members. <br /> E. To engage in agricultural production of food and fibers <br /> cooperatively for personal use and for sale. <br /> F. To engage in and encourage the construction of housing; <br /> which is low cost, energy efficient, harmonious with the natural <br /> surroundings, and otherwise ecologically sound. <br /> G. To preserve and nurture the natural beauties and fruit- <br /> fulness of the land of the corporation and its members. - <br /> - B. To develop the potential of the members of the corporation <br /> for achieving high levels of community self-sufficiency, including <br /> the simplification of life styles, experimenting with alternative. <br /> forms of energy, and becoming relatively independent of outside <br /> sources for food and fibers. - <br /> 1 <br />
