The Private Road <br /> Standards require the approval of the Board of County <br /> Commissioners on Class A roads serving minor subdivisions . <br /> NEED: Board of Commissioners ' approval of a Class A private road is <br /> required before a minor subdivision can be approved for Lot 1 <br /> of the Covered Bridge Subdivision. Covered Bridge is a <br /> subdivision of land in tracts over 10 acres in size and is not <br /> defined as a subdivision subject to County regulations under <br /> G.S. 153-335 ubslimiziQn_Dtlintsl, <br /> On November 4 , 1985 , the Board approved a Class A road to serve <br /> Lot 2 of Covered Bridge Subdivision. <br /> Staff is recommending a Class A private road given the number <br /> of lots served by Gait Way. <br /> IMPACT: A minor subdivision of Lot 1 in the Covered Bridge subdivision <br /> could occur if a Class A road is approved. <br /> RECOMMENDATION: Appr ova 1. <br />
