OWASA has indicated that a gravity sewer must be extended along Bolin Creek to serve the site. Water service can be provided by the extension of a 12" water main from the intersection of Homestead Road and Seawell School Road (SEE 1-13-86 LETTER) . . MADaLIMEEIC The property is served by access from Homestead Road. Homestead Road is designated a major thoroughfare on the Chapel Hill/Carrboro Thoroughfare Plan which provides for the extension of Homestead Road from the intersection of Weaver Dairy Road and NC 86 to NC 54. A 1985 = traffic count for Homestead Road indicates an average of 2,861 trips per day. Traffic generation estimates for development of the property into approximately 80 half-acre, single-family lots is 710 trips per day, an increase of 25 " percent . Courtesy review responses have been received from the referenced service agencies which indicate an ability to serve the site (SEE ATTACHED LETTERS) . Students from the development would attend schools in the Chapel. Hill /Carrboro School District . The school district has indicated. that a' number: of its facilities are currently operating at capacity.
