00173 <br /> 1) over-the-top ties be provided at each end of the <br /> mobile home, with one additional tie per side at an <br /> intermediate location on mobile homes of less than <br /> fifty feet and one additional tie per side for <br /> mobile homes of fifty feet or more. <br /> 2) frame ties be provided at each corner of the mobile <br /> home with four additional ties per side at <br /> intermediate points for mobile homes less than <br /> fifty feet long and one additional tie for mobile <br /> homes of fifty feet or longer. <br /> 3) all components of the anchoring system be cable of <br /> carrying a force of 4, 800 pounds , and <br /> 4) any additions to the mobile home be similarly <br /> anchored. <br /> (c) Mobile homes may be permitted in the floodway <br /> fringe for new mobile home parks and mobile home <br /> subdivisions ; for expansions to exisiting mobile <br /> home parks and mobile home subdivisions ; for <br /> existing mobile home parks and mobile home <br /> subdivisions ; and, for mobile homes not placed in a <br /> mobile home park or mobile home subdivision as long <br /> as the following requirements are met : <br /> 1) stands or lots are elevated on compacted fill or on <br /> pilings so that the lowest floor of the mobile home <br /> will be at or above the base flood level ; <br /> 2) adequate surface drainage and access for a hauler <br /> are provided; and, <br /> 3) in the instance of elevation on pilings : ( 1 ) lots <br /> are large enough to permit steps ; (2) piling <br /> foundations are placed in stable soil no more than <br /> 10 feet apart ; and, (3 ) reinforcement is provided <br /> for pilings more than 6 feet above the ground <br /> level . <br /> PROPOSED AMENDMENT(S) <br /> Revise Subsection (b) and (c) as follows : <br /> (b) All mobile homes located in the floodway after the <br /> adoption of this ordinance shall be gjgu.
