The rule revisions became <br /> effective January 1 , 1986 . Certain provisions <br /> are not included in the existing ordinance. The <br /> proposed amendments must be made and submitted to <br /> the FEMA Regional Office by July 1 , 1986. The <br /> proposed amendments and issue statements are <br /> attached. <br /> IMPACT: The proposed text amendments , if approved, would <br /> bring the Orange County Flood Damage Prevention <br /> Ordinance into compliance with changes in Federal <br /> regulations. <br /> RECOMMENDATION: Approval of amendments . <br />
