AR�li�abililX <br /> Every person, firm or corporation who subdivides land <br /> for residential purposes and/or non-residential <br /> purposes shall be required to provide or dedicate a <br /> portion of such land for the purpose of recreation <br /> and/or open space areas to serve the residents and/or <br /> occupants - of the subdivision, and to preserve <br /> significant natural features and/or cultural <br /> resources . In all eases, the Recreation and Parks <br /> Advisory Council shall review and make recommendations <br /> to the Planning Board and Board of Commissioners on <br /> the provision or dedication of recreation and/or open <br /> space areas . <br /> IV-B-7-b-2 . Dimana anal_8aq,lliremen i s <br /> The total land area provided or dedicated as part of a <br /> residential subdivision shall be equal to at least the <br /> number of square feet derived by the following <br /> formula: <br /> S.F. = N X P X R <br /> Where S.F. = Area , in square feet , of the land <br /> required to be dedicated for recreation <br /> purposes in the subdivision; <br /> N = Number of lots or dwelling units <br /> proposed in the subdivision; <br /> P. = Average family size according to the <br /> latest decennial census for the <br /> township in which the subdivision is <br /> located; <br /> R = A ratio equivalent to 0. 01050 or 10. 50 <br /> acres of developed open space per 1 , 000 <br /> population recommended by the National <br /> Recreation and Parks Association (NRPA) <br /> as the upper limit of the minimum <br /> standard for establishment of a "core" <br /> system of parklands . <br /> or by application of the provisions of Article 5. 1. 1 <br /> (Required Minimum Recreation Space Ratio) and Article <br /> 6 .12 (Land Use Intensity System) of the Orange County <br />
