Division of Water Resources has recommended <br /> that en in—stream flow of 1 .1 MGD be maintained. The <br /> policy statement recommends that the in—stream flow be <br /> based upon the unadjusted 71110 flow rate below Lake Ben <br /> Johnson . This amount would be reduced to 0 as necessary <br /> as successive emergency stages were reached . <br /> Once the maximum withdrawal Limits and in—stream flow <br /> requirements are established , the policy statement calls <br /> • for Local governments and water suppliers to prohibit <br /> additional uses which singly or in aggregate would cause <br /> the water allocations established to be exceeded . <br /> Development approvals up to the a L location Levels would <br /> be staged in accordance with the amount of demand and the <br /> timing required to provide major, new water supplies . <br /> 5. The po licy statement calls for the County and water <br /> suppliers to join together to conduct an engineering <br /> study of new water supply sources and sites .
