See Section 13 of the Model Ordinance. 9. p. 19 Section 15(a) in the third line a reference is made to Section 5.1. Where is Section 5.1? p. 20 Section 15(b) in the second line reference is made to a "written notice to comply". This is in conflict with the intent of the Model. This must be changed to state a "written notice of violation". 10. p. 20 Section 17(a) this paragraph states the requirement of approvals and permit issuance for sites 20,000 square feet and larger. This is fine; however, you may wish to consider those instances in which erosion control plans may be required for areas smaller than 20,000 square feet as provided in Section 6.1. p. 21 Section 17(a)(3) same note as above. p. 22 Section 17(f) change "engaged in" and "responsible for" to "conducting" as shown. 11. p. 22 Section 18(a) change "is" in the fifth line to "are". 12. p. 25 Section 20 change "of a plan" in the fourth line to "of an approved plan". 13. p. 26 Section 21(c) change "sites of land-disturbing activities" ito "sites of any land-disturbing activities" in the sixth line. p. 27 ,Section 21(f) change "responsible for" and "owner or contractor" to "conducting" and "person conducting the land-disturbing activity" respectively as shown.
