The property in <br /> question is known as Lot 27B of Tax Map 18 in Chapel Hill <br /> Township. The purpose of this request is to permit <br /> construction of a five (5) lot subdivision. Lot #5 is reserved <br /> for use as a community septic system drainfield. <br /> The property is located within the Twenty Year Transition area <br /> designated in the Orange County Land Use Plan. That <br /> designation permits single-family residential housing. The <br /> present zoning classification of the property is Residential-1 <br /> (R-1) . The property is located within the Joint Planning Area <br /> and subject to joint approval of the Town of Chapel Hill and <br /> Orange's County. <br /> The Chapel Hill Planning Board unanimously approved the request <br /> with the joint staff recommended conditions on January 30, <br /> 1986. <br />
