Ward Construction Company <br /> for the purpose of installing an elevator at the Orange County New Courthouse. <br /> NEED: G.S. 143-129 requires that all construction or repair work requiring funds <br /> in excess of $30,000 be formally bid and applicable contracts <br /> be executed in writing and entered into minutes of board or governing <br /> body. <br /> IMPACT:. The elevator project can progress, thereby affording the handicapped <br /> citizenry easier accessibility to the Courthouse. <br /> RECOMMENDATION: Approve contract to D.W.
