Command refers to those functions uecesar:y for overall control, <br /> coordination and planning. Additionally, Coo a. rid provides supply and other: <br /> support. The Command level should be staffed by the highest ranking officers. <br /> They will plan overall strategy, and provide the people and equipment needed <br /> to carry out the strategy. <br /> Operations refers to an intermediate, or control level, in the <br /> organizational structure. Generally, operations elements will assume command <br /> of several sectors. Operations functions will usually be aligned according to <br /> agencies, i.e.. fire, police, rescue, at major incidents. <br /> Sectors are the "action" level in the organizational .strueture. Sectors <br /> are commanded by supervisors who concentrate on specific tasks in specific <br /> areas of the scene.
