Amend Article 4 PROVISIONS FOR FLOOD HAZARD REDUCTION , Section 4.3 <br /> Construction,Within _Floodwav and Floodway Fringe _Restricted Subse — <br /> tion (c) , to modify the certification Language regarding floc) .— <br /> proofing of non—residential structures . <br /> This amendment would bring the Orange County Flood Damage Prevention <br /> Ordinance into compliance with recent revisions to the National Flood <br /> Insurance program (NFIP) floodplain management criteria . <br /> 3 . Amend Article 4 PROVISIONS FOR FLOOD HAZARD REDUCTION, Section 4.5 <br /> Mobile Homes Subsections (b) and (c) , to modify anchoring and eleva — <br /> ion requirements . <br /> This amendment would bring the Orange County Flood Damage Prevention <br /> Ordinance into compliance with recent revisions to the National Floyd <br /> Insurance Program (NFIP) floodplain management criteria . <br /> All interested citizens are invited to attend this hearing and be heard . <br /> Public comment ', on any item must be received during the public hearing .wishing to oppose P wring . <br /> 9 ppose a request must provide competent material and <br /> substantial evidence as to the specific manner in which the proposed use doe- <br /> not satisfy the ordinance. Following the close of the public hearing , only <br /> evidence presented at public hearing will be examined by the Planning Boar . <br /> and Board of County Commissioners for decision on the request . <br /> Changes may be made in the advertised proposals which reflect debate <br /> objections and discussions at the hearing . <br /> Questions regarding the proposals should be directed to the Orange Count <br /> Planning Department .
