13 0 ,3 <br /> Commissioner Carey asked about the four exits onto St. Mary's Road <br /> and McAdams indicated they are proposed 600-800 feet apart. <br /> Peter Kramer asked if the traffic from Trayhorn down St. Mary's <br /> Road had been taken into account because those people use St. Mary's Road and <br /> McAdams indicated the impact of that traffic had been considered to some <br /> extent but that Ithe traffic going up St. Mary's Road to Hillsborough had not <br /> been-'considered because most of those people are employed in Durham. Peter <br /> Kramer asked that the traffic from Trayhorn down St. Mary's Road also be <br /> reviewed. <br /> Barry, Jacobs asked on what criteria was based the assessment that <br /> most of the traffic on St. Mary's Road would come to Hillsborough rather than <br /> . away and Meiser 'indicated it was based on the attraction of Hillsborough and - <br /> Chapel Pill and On the number of alternate routes available to the Chapel Hill <br /> and Carrboro area rather than through Hillsborough. Barry Jacobs questioned <br /> the distance from Lawrence Road to Scotswood which was not answered. <br /> McAdams also did not know the difference between the plan as <br /> submitted in the' 197C's and the plan as submitted for Scotswood at this time. <br /> He indicated, inllresponse to a question from Chair Willhoit, that the project <br /> would be phased in within a ten year period. <br /> Commissioner Marshall requested that the beginning and completion <br /> dates be placed on the plan for all future projects to come before the Board. <br /> Chair ,Willhoit asked about the situation on the water pressure and <br /> McAdams indicated their study shows that water pressure would be adequate for <br /> the project including the improvements that will be made and included as part <br /> of the project. <br /> Chair 1 Willhoit asked if there was any proposal to provide <br /> additional classrooms for the schools and McAdams indicated there was no <br /> proposal for such. He noted the approximate value per house would be. 75,000. <br /> Chair Willhoit pointed out that at the current n71.8 per pupil, it <br /> would take a x1301,000 house just to break even. <br /> McAdams assured that the impervious surface ratio would be <br /> provided. He pointed out that the design of the development included a 200 <br /> foot buffer zone on both sides of Yanceyville Creek and special efforts were <br /> made to minimize the traffic impact on adjoining properties. He made comments <br /> on the proposed conditions of approval: <br /> (1) With reference to 17 that the 41 ' paved cross section be <br /> reduced to 37'. <br />
