203 <br /> MODIFICATION OF IMPERVIOUS SURFACE RATIOS <br /> ISSUE: An inquiry has been made regarding the expansion of an <br /> existing industrial establishment in Orange County . <br /> Thalowner has experienced difficulty in complying with <br /> the impervious surface ratio ( 12%) required for a site <br /> within a protected watershed and served by well and <br /> septic tank . The problem may also exist for other <br /> residences, businesses or industries . <br /> Draft proposals of the Research Triangle Council of <br /> Governments included provisions for flexibility <br /> through special use permit procedures . The proposed <br /> ordinance amendment is based on the TJCOG proposals . <br /> EXISTING ORDINANCE PROVISIONS <br /> There are no existing provisions for modification of <br /> the impervious surface ratios . <br /> PROPOSED ORDINANCE REVISIONS <br /> 8 .8 .28 Modification of Impervious Surface Limitations <br /> 8.8 .26 .1 Additional Information <br /> In addition to the information requested in Subsection <br /> 8. 2 and 8.8 , the following shall be supplied as part <br /> of the application : <br /> A) A site plan which shall include the following : <br /> 1 )I The dimensions and acreage of the lot to be <br /> built upon or otherwise used ; <br /> 2) The site Layout of the entire project , <br /> including existing and proposed buildings and <br /> their uses , and its relationship to surrounding <br /> properties ; <br /> 3) The layout of all off—street parking and <br /> Loading areas , including the Location of entry <br /> and exit points , the internal vehicular <br /> circulation pattern , the Location and dimension <br /> of required parking and Loading spaces , and the <br /> materials of which such facilities are <br /> constructed . <br /> 4) 1The Location , dimension and method of <br /> construction of all existing and proposed <br /> streets and highways . <br /> 5) The Location , size and name of all existing <br />
