Jacobs explained that incentive zoning <br /> delineates the fact that planned developments are a form of incentive zoning <br /> • by which a municipality attempts to negotiate a type of clustered housing and <br /> the most efficient use of land on a particular development. It .is relevant in <br /> terms of the purpose for a planned development ordinance. • <br /> Motion was made by Commissioner Carey, seconded by Commissioner <br /> . Marshall to continue the public hearing on the Scotswood development to . <br /> January 6, 1986 to allow additional time for the Planning Staff to evaluate <br /> the new information about the availability of water resources and to possibly • <br /> develop a plan for staging of development in order to address the concerns in <br /> that area, to look at the data available for the raw water usage by the public <br /> utility providers which may change the recommendation, to review the <br /> recommendations made by the Erosion Control Officer and review the conditions <br /> to make them more, specific. Also the handicapped parking and ramps should be <br /> shown on the plat.
