The unemployment rate for the year was 3.1%, translating into •. an employed labor force of 38,440 persons. 59.5 percent' - of the employed labor force were male and 42.5% were female. The male unemployment rate was lower than the combined unemployment rate at 3.0% Iff and, the female unemployment rate was higher at 3.2%.
