(The overexpenditures of <br /> the Homemaker-Home Health Aide Travel will be charged to <br /> the Title III Homemaker Travel Account. ) <br /> 3 Title III - I & R - Office Supplies - Paper supplies <br /> purchases were lower due to the County Central Services <br /> providing xeroxing services (including paper) in its <br /> budget- <br /> 4 Title III - I & R - Postage - Cost for bulk rate permit <br /> mailing as a county' department rose from 3'5¢ to l0'4t <br /> _ per piece . Thus , mailing costs of 3000 newsletters in- <br /> creased more than $207-OO' <br /> 5 Title III - Transportation - Travel - Since most clients <br /> have been transported on DoA or leased vans , excess funds <br /> anticipated to pay staff or voluoteers� for client travel <br /> have accumvlated. <br /> § Title III - I & R - Travel - Several unanticipated Triangle <br /> J COG workshops have been held over the past six months ; <br /> also, funds will be needed for staff to attend the Division <br /> of Aging Annual Conference scheduled in June rather than <br /> • the next fiscal year. <br /> � . <br /> 7 Administration - Personnel - There will be unexpended funds <br /> due to Bernice' Hupkivs , Program Director, voluntarily re- <br /> ducing her work hours over the past six months . Mrs . <br /> Hopkins will be officially retired as of June 30, 1981 ' <br /> O Administration - Social Security - There will be unex- <br /> pended funds due to Bernice Hopkins reducing ^her work hours , <br /> thus reducing social security funds . <br /> 9 Capital - Van Replacement - The $2000 budgeted for' a van <br /> will not be expended by June ]O^ 1981 , Thus , it is propos ! <br /> that the funds be used toward Capital renovations to the <br /> proposed DoA office space in the Chapel Hill Multipurpose <br /> Center. (See item #10. ) <br />
