In addition, if the <br /> canter only had one room and shared space with Headstart for use after Headstart <br /> was not in session, then there would be no possibility of two and, three year 'old <br /> class later becoming a three and four year old class. And next year at this time <br /> the center and Headstart could possibly be struggling over space again. <br /> Option II'—Two rooms on the Southern wing <br /> There are two rooms presently vacant next to the bathrooms on the southern wing. <br /> Neither has plumbing for sinks and commodes. In order for the center to locate <br /> in those two rooms the following renovations would, need to be made: <br /> installation of a septic tank, installation of plumbing and, fixtures for two <br /> sinks and commodes including hot and, cold, water connections and, connection to <br /> septic tank, new flooring, fire detection system, painting, and pipes insulated. <br /> This ia rongIlly estimated to cost between $7,000 - $8,000. In addition much of <br /> this work would have to be contracted out and not done by county crews. This <br /> • <br /> would make meeting an August deadline difficult. Advantages to this option is <br /> little or no disruption of present activities and. programs presently in the <br /> building and the separated space for the day care center.
