' � ^"^ "~ ^ <br /> \|' ( X�� <br /> ,L; - ��� <br /> PRELIMINARY ASSESSMENT RESOLUTION ~� Ve �� " ~ <br /> PRELIMINARY ASSESSMENT RESOLUTION FOR THE FINANCING BY ORANGE COUNTY <br /> OF THE LOCAL SHARE OF THE COSTS OF PAVING NORTH CAROLINA STATE ROAD <br /> 42013` ALSO KNOWN AS AUTUMN DRIVE, NORTH CAROLINA STATE ROAD 42014, <br /> ALSO KNOWN AS BRENDA COURT, NORTH CAROLINA STATE ROAD 02015, ALSO <br /> KNOWN AS SOUTHERN DRIVE, NORTH CAROLINA STATE ROAD 02016, ALSO <br /> KNOWN AS LINDLEY DRIVE, NORTH CAROLINA STATE ROAD 02817, ALSO KNOWN <br /> AS WELCOME DRIVE IN THE RANG[HOOO5U8DlVlSION LOCATED IN CHAPEL HILL <br /> TOWNSHIP, ORANGE COUNTY, NORTH CAROLINA. <br /> WHEREAS the Board of County Commissioners of Orange County has <br /> received a petition requesting the paving of North Carolina State Road 42013, <br /> also known as Autumn Drive, North Carolina State Road 42014, also known as <br /> Brenda Court, North Carolina State Road #2015, also known as Southern Drive, <br /> North Carolina State Road 42016, also known as Lindley Drive, North Carolina <br /> State Road 02017, also known as Welcome Drive in the Rangewood Subdivision <br /> located in Chapel Hill Township, Orange County, North Carolina which petition <br /> has been signed by at least seventy-five percent (75%) of the owners of <br /> property adjoining the said roads, which property represents at least <br /> seventy-five percent (75%) of the lineal feet of frontage of the lands abutting / <br /> the said roads, pursuant to North Carolina General Statute S153A-205(c) / and <br /> WHEREAS the Board of County Commissioners of Orange County has <br /> elected to finance the local share of the costs of paving the said roads, <br /> as permitted by North Carolina General Statute 51538-185(4) and as provided for <br /> in North Carolina Statute S153A-206(a)' <br /> IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED THAT: <br /> 1. Orange County shall undertake financing of the local share of <br /> paving North Carolina State Road 42013, also known as Autumn Drive, North <br /> Carolina State Road 42014^ also known as Brenda Court, North Carolina State | <br /> Road 42015, also known as Southern Drive, North Carolina State Road 42016, <br /> also known as Lindley Drive, North Carolina State Road 0207, also known as <br /> Welcome Drive in the Rangewood Subdivision located in Chapel Hill Township, <br /> Orange County, North Carolina. The amount to be financed by Orange County is <br /> estimated to be $22,200 including costs and attorney's fees. Approximately <br /> 55% of the cost of paying the above roads will be borne by the Department of <br /> Transportation of the State of North Carolina_ <br /> 2. The basis for assessment for the local share of the cost of this <br /> project shall be the cost to Orange County per linear foot of street frontage, <br /> including County administrative expenses and attorney's fees. <br />
