The project will cost $I0,008 and <br /> the Committee is asking each of the participating counties to contribute <br /> on a prorated basis, based upon the new census figures. Orange County's <br /> share will total $897.00 . It is my understanding from the latest Minutes <br /> of the Orange County Industrial Authority, that the Authority has agreed that <br /> this is a good investment. <br /> It is my recollection that the Board appropriated approximately $1,000 for the <br /> use of the Industrial Authority, at the request of Mr. Shannon Julian, then <br /> Chairman of the Authority. However, the Finance Department has not been able <br /> to locate this appropriation in the budget. If the Board wishes to endorse <br /> this expenditure for the Metro Atlas, I suggest that the money be appropriated <br /> by the Board from Contingency into the Industrial Authority account so that <br /> the check might be issued without further delay. <br /> • <br />
