Usage: The terminal would be used by the department part time and <br /> by other County departments the rest of the time. <br /> In conclusion, the Steering Cmuattee recommends acceptance of these <br /> requests to include one prihter and eight terminals. As a package purchase, <br /> this will cost $1,800 for each terminal compared to $2,600 at a later time <br /> or separately. Background on the timeliness of the request is included <br /> in the Minutes of May 5, 1981 of the committee but let me sunnarize that to <br /> say they these requests have been in various stages of review since October <br /> 1980. Fund transfers of $9,200 are being requested with the balance <br /> available in current capital budgets. The requesting departments will <br /> gladly appear before the County Commissioners if you choose to present this <br /> item on a future agenda. <br /> • <br />
