5) Off-Street Parking <br /> For uses other than residential, off-street parking shall <br /> be provided as required in Article 9. <br /> 6) Minimum Yard Requirements Adjacent to Public Streets <br /> Minimum front yards adjacent to public streets shall be thirty <br /> feet. <br /> 7) Yards required adjacent to Residential Districts <br /> Where PD-MU districts adjoin Residential districts without <br /> an intervening street or alley, a yard at least twenty feet <br /> in width, if a sideyard, or depth, if a rear yard, shall be <br /> provided along such joint boundary. <br /> 8) Restrictions on vehicular use of yards required adjacent to <br /> public streets. <br /> Yards required above shall not be used for parking and <br /> yards required above adjacent to Residential districts shall <br /> not be used for driveways serving five or more parking spaces. <br /> e) Site Planning--External Relationships <br /> Relation of the district to surrounding areas shall be as <br /> provided for PD-H districts at Section. 7.14.3 External. <br /> Relationships; Subsections 1, Principal vehicular Access <br /> Points; 2, Access for Pedestrians and Cyclists; 3, Protection <br /> of Visibility; 5, Yards, Fences, Walls or Vegetative Screen- <br /> ing, and 6, Height Limitations. <br /> 1) Requirement for mass transit access, No PD-MU district shall <br /> be created except where mass transportation or direct access <br /> to an arterial street is available, or is made available, at <br /> convenient locations - at the edges of or within the district. <br /> Such mass transportation shall be at a scale and of a <br /> character suited to the needs of occupants and visitors. <br /> 2) Location of Uses in Relation to Adjoining Residential Districts • <br /> Where a PD-MU district adjoins any Residential district, with or <br /> without an intervening street or alley, to the maximum <br /> - extent reasonably practicable, residential uses within <br /> the PD-MU district shall be located adjacent to the Residential <br /> district, and nonresidential uses and signs shall be located <br /> or oriented away from the Residential district. <br /> f) Internal Relationships <br /> The site plan shall provide for safe, efficient, convenient <br /> and harmonious groupings of structures, uses, facilities and <br /> open spaces in a manner facilitating pedestrian movement <br /> between major origins and destinations within and adjacent <br /> to the district with a minimum of conflicts with vehicular <br /> traffic.
