Individual Human Service Volunteer Examples: A person who has served as a reading volunteer, juvenile court volunteer or Meals-on-Wheels volunteer. 2. Individual Community Volunteer Leader Examples: A person who, as a volunteer, has developed or led a volunteer effort to meet a community need, such as a community cleanup project or the development of a day- care center. 3. Administrator/Coordinator of Volunteers Examples: A PAID person in a local organization who has developed and maintained a volunteer program or an UNPAID person who has developed a community volunteer project, such as a fund-raising effort for historic preservation. 4. Youth Volunteer Examples: An individual under 21 years of age who volunteers in the community within a program or independently. 5. Senior Citizen Volunteer Examples: An individual over 60 years of age who volunteers in the community within a program or independently. 6. Disabled Person Volunteer Examples: A person who is disabled who volunteers in the community within a program or independently. Volunteer Organization Category 1. Community Volunteer Organization Examples: Kiwanis, Rotary, Volunteer Fire Department or special group or task force organized to address a specific community need. 2. Church/Religious Volunteer Group Examples: A church youth group, Sunday School class, area ministerial association, etc. .3. Business/Industry Volunteer Involvement Examples: A Chamber of Commerce which has developed support for school improvements, an industry or business whose employee organization has built playground equipment for a day-care center. Financial support for the community is allowable with the addition of volunteer activity.
