Individual Human Service Volunteer <br /> Examples: A person who has served as a reading volunteer, <br /> juvenile court volunteer or Meals-on-Wheels volunteer. <br /> 2. Individual Community Volunteer Leader <br /> Examples: A person who, as a volunteer, has developed or <br /> led a volunteer effort to meet a community need, such as <br /> a community cleanup project or the development of a day- <br /> care center. <br /> 3. Administrator/Coordinator of Volunteers <br /> Examples: A PAID person in a local organization who has <br /> developed and maintained a volunteer program or an UNPAID <br /> person who has developed a community volunteer project, <br /> such as a fund-raising effort for historic preservation. <br /> 4. Youth Volunteer <br /> Examples: An individual under 21 years of age who volunteers <br /> in the community within a program or independently. <br /> 5. Senior Citizen Volunteer <br /> Examples: An individual over 60 years of age who volunteers <br /> in the community within a program or independently. <br /> 6. Disabled Person Volunteer <br /> Examples: A person who is disabled who volunteers in the <br /> community within a program or independently. <br /> Volunteer Organization Category <br /> 1. Community Volunteer Organization <br /> Examples: Kiwanis, Rotary, Volunteer Fire Department or <br /> special group or task force organized to address a specific <br /> community need. <br /> 2. Church/Religious Volunteer Group <br /> Examples: A church youth group, Sunday School class, area <br /> ministerial association, etc. <br /> .3. Business/Industry Volunteer Involvement <br /> Examples: A Chamber of Commerce which has developed support <br /> for school improvements, an industry or business whose <br /> employee organization has built playground equipment for a <br /> day-care center. Financial support for the community is <br /> allowable with the addition of volunteer activity. <br />
