He was authorized by the Board to proceed with the new delve <br /> Iment. <br /> Commissioner Smith stated the First Baptist Church wished to have two <br /> dhandicapped parking signs erected at the church for the handicapped use. <br /> The Clerk was asked to order the signs for the Church. <br /> Item 7: Offical Naming of Un-named Streets and the Re-naming of Street <br /> 1 with duplicate names. <br /> Upon motion of Commissioner Smith, seconded by Commissioner Johnson, i <br /> was moved and unanimously adopted to accept the new names and the re-naming <br /> • <br /> those streets as presented on Item 7 of the agenda. <br /> (Insert street names) <br /> Item 8: Vernon Harris of Pridgen Consultants request direction regard: <br /> a study of the water needs around the Grady Brown School area. <br /> Upon motion of Commissioner Martin, seconded by Commissioner Johnson, <br /> was moved and adopted to inform Pridgen Consultants the Town Board has not <br /> asked that Company to do a study of the water needs as discussed in his leti <br /> of February 4, 1981. <br /> Item 9: Request from the Town Clerk to hire temporarily part-time l <br /> assistance. <br /> The suggestion was made by Commissioner Lloyd that the clerk working it <br /> the Police Department be asked to assist the Town Hall staff on a part-time <br /> basis. <br /> Upon motion of Commissioner Lloyd, seconded by Commissioner Smith, the <br /> Police Commissioner was asked to talk with the Police Chief about the possib <br /> of the Police Clerk working part time for three months at Town Hall. <br /> Iterh 10: Requst for endorsement by the Orange County Day Care Coalitio <br /> for a Community Forum on the issue of Child Care. <br />
