Board of County Commissioners
April 30, 1981
Page 2
4. PUBLIC NOTIFICATION OF ZONING ORDINANCE CHANGES
2.3.3.4 The Planning Staff, and Ordinance Consultant feel that the
ordinance should not require any notification above what is
required by The General Statues. The Planning Board has
recommended the following wording which exceeds the require-
ments of The General Statues. The Staff feels that these
extra requirements should be a County Policy rather than
an inclusion in Zoning Ordinance.
The Board shall give notice of matters coming before it by
causing public notation to be placed in a newspaper of general
circulation in the County.
The notice shall appear once a week for two consecutive
weeks, the first insertion to be not less than fifteen days
nor more than twenty five days prior to the meeting date.
Written notice shall be sent by certified mail to all
adjacent property
days before the meeting date. Adjacent property owners
are those whose names and addresses are currently listed
in the Orange County tax records and whose property lies
within five hundred feet of the affected property.
The Zoning Officer shall post on the applicant's affected
property a notice of the Board meeting at least fifteen
days prior to the date of said meeting,
6.16.6 Re: .tions Conce : He Occ w=tions, As An Accessory Use
6.16.6.1 Home Occupation In All Residential Districts Except AR and.
